Spiti Valley
The Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalaya mountains in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It offers several spectacular sight-seeing options with scenic mountain views and clear rivers. You can visit some of the amazing monsateries like Key monastery, Lhalung monastery, Tabo monastery and Dhankar monastery. The best time to visit Lahaul Spiti valley is from June to September. The weather in these months is comfortable with a pleasant 25 degrees during daytime and quite chilly 3 to 4 degrees during night.
Dalhousie – Khajjiar
Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. Dalhousie is a popular destination for honeymooners. Dalhousie also offers you the spectacular view of the majestic snow-capped Pir Panjal mountain range located in Jammu and Kashmir, Sach Pass and Chamba’s Pangi Valley. There are several amazing places to visit in this hill station like Kalatop, Daikund and Panch Pula, Satdhara Falls etc. Khajjiar is one of the main attraction which is located approximately 24 km from Dalhousie. Dharamshala
Dharamshala is surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama. Dharamshala Hill Station is known for its scenic & beautiful landscapes, bungalows, churches, monasteries, and cantonment that are surrounded by the mighty Dhauladhar mountains. Places to visit in Dharamshala are Macleodganj, Naddi, Bhagsunag Temple, Bhagsunag Waterfall, Dharamkot, Triund etc.
Kasauli
Kasauli is a cantonment town and a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Kasauli is often described as a hiker’s paradise and being a small town can be covered mostly by foot. It’s home to gabled colonial-era houses, orchards and green-roofed Christ Church, dating from the mid-19th century. Monsoons are the best for adventure activities while the early summer months is the ideal time for exploring the beautiful town.
